I love this, I can now also watch my favorite podcast and videos from my Facebook account on TV too!!

When u connect, there is no problem. But when I try to do anything afterwards, like watching something, it doesnt work at all. Plus, there is a newer version that looks and functions much better than this one.

Works great. Only 3 stars to do annoying ZappoTV now stuck all over my WDTV Live Hub when pausing/stopping/switching movies from the hub. Giant ZappoTV background is thrown everywhere on my hub it seems. Big report sent.

This app will only work when I am on my home network. I downloaded this app to watch movies from my wd media server on the fly. Every time I try to open the app when not on my home network I get 3-5 pop ups that say the server is unavailable. Whats the use. If Im at home I can watch what I want on my tv. To make matters worse there is no forum to get help from. Yes i know its free but if your gonna do something then do it right. This app is crap!

Long story short, my remote died on me. Rather than buy a new one, I looked for a WDTV app. But, I have the older version of WDTV Live so the remote app doesnt work. I tried this app and was happily surprised that it works. The best part was being able to "play all" files within a folder, which the WDTV could not do prior. Oustanding!! (The only thing I can not do is power down the WDTV, but that is a minor complaint.)

If you want to use this app you MUST create a Zappo account. I do not want a Zappo account and I will not create one. BIG FAIL on WD part. Dont waste your time.

This app made me fall in love with my WD media player again!

Installed the app about two weeks ago. The app had no issues finding my WD TV device and my desktop. Worked great for about a week, but suddenly stopped working after that. The app cant recognize the WD or my desktop. It does however recognize a laptop that i once turned on at home which was connected wirelessly. I contacted Zappotv guys who graciously tried to help, but were unable to identify the source of the problem. They promised to keep looking into it but so far nothing. If anyone has experienced this kind of issue please put a review comment with the solution.

This is missing some serious features included on the FREE non-iPhone version. How do you include less features on the iPhone version, and charge for it? You cannot access your photos, and show them on the screen without creating a "slideshow" that must have at least 2 pictures. If you want to play music, or watch a video you shot you are out of luck unless you have a different phone.

I like the app other then the you tube part if it does not show music videos they need to add vevo to the app they added a bunch if other things people dont use why not vevo

Pretty awesome. I no longer have cable but this lets me watch all my stuff on my TV. Could you make it work on the web, too?

Does not work, is not a replacement for wdtv live remote. Total waste of 3 dollars.

Wont play flac files from network storage.

Yes, this app works. But, just like cable TV, even though you pay for it, there are still ads on every screen.
